The Idaho LEGO Users Group (LUG) is excited to bring you MOCFEST! 2023, a FREE LEGO exhibition, Saturday October 28 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday October 29th from 10am to 3pm.

The event is being held at ABU Games at 7211 W. Colonial St. in Boise. There will be plenty to discover for LEGO fans of all ages.

We will have over 50 builders exhibiting hundreds of creations, including buildings, ships, monsters, robots, spaceships and more. Highlights will include a 13ft wide minifig Scale diorama of the Avatar world Pandora, a 12 foot-high Saturn V rocket made from 40,000 bricks and an intricate miniature build of the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Kids of all ages can participate in “Design within Constraint” activities where they can will build a tower or bridge with LEGO bricks in a fun and engaging way, and see how they do under the constraints of time and material. There will be several rounds of competition throughout each day, and awards will be posted after each round. Towers will be judged on height, number of bricks used, and stability. Bridges will be judges on weight supported before collapse. Kids ages 7 to 14 will be eligible for each round of the competition.

Those 15 and older (yes, adults welcome) can enter a Master Division with a prize to be awarded at the end of the day.

MOCFEST! 2023 Is sponsored by Bricks and Minifigs, hosted by the Idaho LUG and powered by ABU Games. MOC stands for My Own Creation, when builders use LEGO and work from their own imaginations to make some incredible works for art.
