America 250 Events in Boise

Boise’s America 250 celebration features a vibrant mix of community activities designed to bring people together, spark conversation, and highlight the diverse voices that shape our city.

Special events include:

Idaho America 250 Capitol Celebration – All day festivities in front of the Capitol building in Cecil D Andrus Park, including a pancake breakfast, parade, and live music.

4^th of July Fireworks Celebration – Festivities begin at 6 p.m. at Ann Morrison Park with food and beverage vendors, family-friendly activities, and the park’s interactive fountain illuminated in red, white and blue. Enjoy a free patriotic performance from the Boise Philharmonic at 9 p.m., followed by a spectacular drone show at 10:15 p.m. The fireworks show begins at dusk around 10:30 p.m.

Zoo Boise America 250 for $2.50 Weekend – Enjoy $2.50 admission on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5.

4th of July Pancake Breakfast – This cherished community tradition honors and supports our nation’s veterans. Come to Cecil D. Andrus Park, in front of the Idaho State Capitol, from 7-10 a.m. Free for veterans and active military, $5 for all others.

4th of July Parade – The parade travels through downtown along Capitol Blvd., starting near the Morrison Center at 10:00 AM and finishing near the State Capitol at 11:30 AM.

Summer is the perfect time to experience Boise’s outdoor lifestyle.
