Come join the Treasure Valley Jazz All Stars for their second performance at the Sapphire Room! Featuring an “All-Star” line up of jazz musicians from across the mountain west that will be presenting the music of iconic saxophonists such as Joe Henderson and John Coltrane. The quintet is co-lead by Boise based jazz musicians Derek Ganong (Trumpet) and Alex Sjobeck (Piano). Joining them for this performance is Ben Britton (Tenor Saxophone – Twin Falls, ID), Braun Khan (Bass – Logan, UT), and Brian Claxton (Drums – Denver, CO).\nThe Gene Harris All Stars, an advanced audition only high school combo funded by Boise State University’s Gene Harris Jazz Festival, will be opening the show.\n\n\n\n\n
