Come join the Treasure Valley Jazz All Stars for their second annual Jazz Appreciation Month performance in Boise! Featuring an “All-Star” lineup of jazz musicians from across the Mountain West that will be presenting the music of iconic saxophonists such as Joe Henderson and John Coltrane. The quintet is co-led by Boise-based jazz musicians Derek Ganong (Trumpet) and Alex Sjobeck (Piano). Joining them for this performance are Ben Britton (Tenor Saxophone – Twin Falls, ID), Braun Khan (Bass – Logan, UT), and Brian Claxton (Drums – Denver, CO). The Gene Harris All-Stars will be opening -an advanced audition-only high school combo funded by Boise State University’s Gene Harris Jazz Festival.\n\n\n\n\n
